Since January 2022 Nomad Teachers has started a new teaching adventure thanks to the collaboration with Talenmeester.
The motto of this nice language school based in Hoofddorp is learn a language without grammar. But what does it mean? Is that really possible or is it just a dream of every student?
UNDERSTAND Italian WITH STORYTELLING
You will not find textbooks at Talenmeesters. The philosophy is that you learn a language by hearing it a lot and especially by being able to understand it first. Then speaking comes naturally. You have already proven that this really works: you have learned to understand and speak your native language by listening and certainly not by completing fill-in exercises in your workbook.
The teacher speaks the whole lesson in Italian and she makes sure you understand everything. You don't have to take notes because thanks to the repetitions offered during the lessons, you are going to remember everything much easier. And when the teacher asks you a question, you know how to answer it perfectly in Italian! So from lesson 1 you understand and speak Italian! Fantastico, no?

If you have already had some lessons with Nomad Teacher Giovanna, you probably already know that learning a language can be really fun, interactive, and never boring. With her, you have already experienced the magic of understanding and interacting in Italian since the first lesson or on informal occasions such as the pasta workshops. With Talenmeester, Nomad Teacher Giovanna goes a step forward in this direction! She has the perfect background to embrace the TPRS approach of teaching proficiency through reading and storytelling and she enriches her education by attending dedicated courses and training.

TAILORED ITALIAN LESSONS
If the fixed time of group courses doesn´t combine well with your schedule or daily routine, you probably would enjoy more flexibility. Or perhaps you go as fast as a train (Italian saying = you learn very fast) and a group course is not challenging enough for you. You should then consider individual lessons or duo, with a friend or a family member. You can learn Italian at your own pace and we can decide together the best day for you to learn Italian.
